Uh, oh! I'm on a rant!!>>"?"?{!*@$%
In the news today, Harry has been seen in full combat gear, in a sandy place that looks like Afghanistan. He hasn't had a shower in days and he hasn't washed his clothes for a week....so we can conclude from these hardships that he is in fact an "exemplary soldier". I think we must come to this conclusion because it is the same conclusion our glorious PM has come to and stated to the press...Ask some questions though.....HAS HE BEEN SHOT IN THE LINE OF DUTY? HAS HE BEEN INJURED IN THE LINE OF DUTY? HAS HE BEEN KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY? NOW THAT HIS PRESENCE BEEN LEAKED TO THE PRESS>>>WILL HE STAY? WILL HE RETURN TO THE UK AND RECEIVE AWARDS, MEDALS AND CREDIBILITY FOR HIS 10 WEEKS IN IRAQ BEING GUARDED BY AN ENTIRE REGIMENT OF GURKHA (I myself would face the devil himself with his legions with just a platoon of Gurkha standing slightly in front of me). However, in light of the story, one must ask what his slightly sissier brother is doing at the moment for the country that will be his one day?
The rest of the news is stuff we already know. Nobody can find a dentist because the government screwed up the reforms but are too pig headed to admit it. The protest at the Houses of Commons was the result of an inside job...Oh, really!....and guess what....Iraqi refugees in Syria are coming to the UK because they are running out of money in Syria....Running out of money in Syria????not the men who control the oil...surely?! Coincidentally isn't there going to be a Premiership club up for sale soon if the Thai courts lynch Thaksin for corruption. If so then perhaps the ownership should be taken up by the Syrian Government. With the high proceeds and profits of ticket sales, money could be diverted towards funding and keeping refugees from their own region within their own region.
On a lighter and much nicer note, it's a good thing I think, that James Nathan won Masterchef. Personally, I thought despite his previous background, that he was the more natural and most consistent of the three. Will I ever go to his restaurant...I hope so, but it will probably be somewhere really awful like exactly the opposite side of the M25, down the M3, then 48 miles (seven days and a Welsh half hour) down the B34212385 and then up the beach where Harry was filmed recently paintballing with members of his local Indian take-a-way, the "Nepal Star."
Hope it's sunny tomorrow.
When Political Tribes Splinter
