Britain can't afford another year of Labour

Gordon Brown has exactly one year left before he has to call a General Election.

But with a Government that has lost direction and a Prime Minister who has lost control, Britain can’t afford to wait that long. We need a General Election now.

David Cameron has made clear, “The scale of the problems facing Britain today - the recession, the debt crisis, and above all the political crisis - all point in one direction. I think there is now only one way of sorting out the mess, and that is for Parliament to be dissolved and for a General Election to be held right away.”

Another year of Labour would mean:

- Every person’s share of the national debt increasing by almost £3,000

- A million more people out of work

- Another 20,000 businesses going bust

- 82,000 more young people not in employment, education or training

- 31,000 more prisoners released early, including 6,000 violent offenders

- Another 65,000 pupils playing truant every day

If you want a chance to Vote for Change, sign our petition for a General Election now.
